2010 Mets
Hi my name is Jason Johnson and I am the Head Coach for the 2010 Mets. I will use this site to post information that I feel is important for the parents and players. Dates and times for games and practices can be found under the schedule tab at the top of the page. All cancellations and any other updates will be posted at the bottom of this page. Feel free to browse the different pages on the site. I will update the site regularly so please check back often.
Little League Baseball should be fun. In order to accomplish this I will do the following.
1) Treat all of the players the same. I will play all of the players an equal amount of time and at every position.
2) Try to design practices so that the kids do not have to stand around alot. I want them to get as many repetitions during the drills as possible.

My Goals for the Players
1) Have Fun - I want all players to learn but the most important thing is that they have fun.
2) Learn Positions - I hope that by the end of the season ALL of the players will know where each position plays and basic technique of each position.
3) Take Instruction- I want all players to build from one week to the next on what they have learned.
4) Improve Skills - I want all players to know how to field, throw, catch and bat.
